Pakistan protesting against Fitna… again.

May 5, 2008 · 5 Comments

The Muslim chaps in Pakistan seem to have found something new to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon; protesting against the existance of Fitna. They seem to be enjoying this sort of thing, because it is definately not the first time they’ve done this. Perhaps it’ll be a national pasttime soon. I actually almost forgot about the film, until these yahoo’s decided to protest against it… again.

Anyway, they cried out they would do anything in their power to protect the sanctity of the prophet. Muhammed must be deeply ashamed up there in heaven for several reasons;

  • That a sorry bunch of brainless baboons are the ones ‘defending’ his honour (when he was alive he at least handled his own business).
  • That these idiots are protesting a film that didn’t even mention the prophet (the original version showed the Danish cartoon, but that was removed).
  • There is a rumour Muhammed was playing poker with Jesus, Moses and Abraham last week and was caught cheating.
fitna protest

Seriously; who are these lamebrain idiots to speak on behalf of the prophet? Is he unable to handle this himself? He can ask God to strike Wilders with a few bolts of lightning, can’t he? Although if you look at pictures of the guy, I suspect that has already happened, judging by his hair; that has already happened.

I think these guys are actually insulting the prophet, by claiming he needs them to protect his honour. Shame on the Pakistani to insult the prophet Muhammed. Guess they’re just not very good Muslims, are they?

Welcome to my blog ‘n’. Thanks for venting your opinion. That feels good, doesn’t it? Being able to freely make your point without censorship?

Now tell me; why should you have that privilege and Geert Wilders shouldn’t? What makes you so special?

Telling me to mind my own business is quite rich coming from you (I’m assuming you are a Muslim, possibly from Pakistan and obviously ‘against’ Fitna). First of all; Fitna is a DUTCH film. I am Dutch. That immediately makes it my business. I am for free speech (even free speech from people that constantly abuse that right) and you are not (otherwise you would not tell me to mind my own business).

What ’stupid step’ did ‘us people’ make? Point out that the way some (most) Muslim countries treat women is a insult to the entire human race? That Islam as it is today is an oppressive, violent religion?

Don’t get me wrong; I don’t like the Christian faith much better. In my book, all religion should be shot off the planet to never return and humanity will be better for it, the three Abrahamic dogma’s first. And if I could choose, I’d select Islam to go first.

And lastly… yes I wipe my ass with a tissue after I take a dump. I’m curious to find out what YOU use and I’m afraid the answer will be something that will make me not ever want to shake your hand.

Okays, that’s making good sense. But the point I am concentrating at is do you really think making such videos or creating cartoons that according to some people is disrespect to their religion, is fair?

Humanity obviously comes first even in Islam and surely if whatever is shown about killings and bombings in that movie clip is true, as according to you guys these are all Muslims been doing such acts to cause destruction and killings among people who did not agree with Islam, well justice shall be applied, responsible should be punished to whatever it takes. I think that’s the rule being applied everywhere even in a country like Pakistan.

But, no instead you chose to make image of Islam bad so it gets considered as an evil in general public. Do you really think it’s appropriate for a religion being insulted that way?

I do understand its 21st century, but still there are lots of people out there in every religion, who do have a strong believe in their respected religions and they respect their religious values more than their own lives.

Now the only thing I would say you take into consideration is, are you making world a safer and better place by creating such videos and cartoons that hurt feelings of people as badly as above picture explains. I don’t think so.

In addition, everything in this world we live is slightly or more interconnected. Europe could have stopped or at least tried to stop what’s been happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, Philistines, Kashmir and various other places where humanity was never been thought about or if it did with no sincere and serious consideration and planning.

I can’t get the point why can’t we all just live in peace. It’s not that hard to happen. Why there are always negative measures being taken. When foreign army officials kill innocent people it’s for the holy cause of war on terror but when these innocent civilians lose their entire families in bloodshed by army guys and left with the last option to become suicide bombers after losing all valid reasons to live for, they are called evil terrorists. The way I look at this world is we are heading towards only destruction.

Rehan, you raise some interesting points. Some of which I can understand, some I (in part or completely) agree with and some I disagree with. I think this is a discussion that deserves a post of it’s own, which I will put on the blog later this week (I’ve got the flu so not much PC time for me atm).
